Emergency legislation to expedite the demolition of old hotels and the modernization of the Playa de Palma. Parallel to this law, wants the Balearic government's reform tourism framework law (LGT).
The Playa de Palma is to be beautiful, modern, attractive and environmentally friendly. The politicians promise long ago. So long that they no longer really listens and faith. For this reason, in recent days has hardly been noted that in the billion-expensive renovation project currently does something.
Recent developments have also not yet been determined for the general public. Rather, the respective political parties in the Balearic Parliament, and the employers' associations have been informed. The director of the urban consortium for rehabilitation of the Playa de Palma, Margarita Nájera had this past week, the leading representatives asked for a meeting, appropriately enough, in a hotel on the Playa de Palma. One thing is certain: The integral modernization of Playa de Palma will cost three times as much money as originally estimated. For all these projects, the consortium calls from the politicians now an urgent law to guarantee for the rehabilitation of the Playa de Palma, the necessary legal certainty. These parties would need to pull together, called Nájera.
