Strong protests from the property and construction business against the projects of the Island Council to give the municipality the status Bé d'Interés Cultural (BIC).
In Pollença, the resistance is growing against a decision of the Island Council. The old center of town is to be declared a cultural monument. The procedure to be initiated, a decision might be on Friday 23 April fall. In particular, representatives of the local construction sector to covet these plans.

The village of Pollença in Mallorca

In cycling distance to the entire Bay of Pollensa are with the great peninsula of La Victoria, Alcudia and the bay of the same, Can Picafort, the town of Pollença, Cala Sant Vicenç on the northwest coast and still-accessible on small roads through the hinterland of the Caves Campanet.
By bus or renting a lot of attractive destinations including Palma are convenient reach. And thus the starting point for a series of hikes.
Less appealing is the place presented as such-with the exception of traffic at the plaza behind the "first line" water. The restaurant and bar scene is dense and varied reception, but there is a lack of terraces and outdoor restaurants of the better categories.
Clock between 10 and 15 day clock is Port de Pollença from May to October, driven by a number of tour buses.
