Cala Llombards is a charming bay in the southeast of Majorca, near the small village of Es Llombards and about 6 kilometers from Santanyi. The place itself is characterized by attractive holiday properties. There is only one hotel, a bar and two supermarkets. The secluded beach is surrounded by steep cliffs and rocky areas, the sand is white and soft, the water is wonderfully clear and ideal for snorkeling. Along the bay you can still see a few of the small fisherman's cottages, which makes the whole thing even more charming. The Chiringuito on the beach offers a wide selection of delicious fish dishes, which can be enjoyed directly in the sand. The Cala Llombards is surrounded by an impressive cliff landscape covered in pine and pine trees. From the rocks there is an impressive view of the entire coastline. The beach itself is managed and guarded. Moorings - some with plenty of sun, some in the shade - can be found not only directly on the shore, but also on rocky plateaus on the picturesque slopes around the bay, from which you can climb over ladders into the water. Directly on the bay above the beach is the settlement of Cala Llombards, which was built in the 1960s on the property of the former Finca Son Amer. It consists of holiday and family houses. The Cala Llombards is definitely one of the most beautiful bays in the southeast of Mallorca. Not for nothing the beach Cala Llombards is incredibly popular. If you want to avoid many visitors, you should come here during the week or off peak season. Then the beach is more than ever an oasis of absolute relaxation. Trails along the bay and the famous vantage point on the geological formation "Es Pontas" make it very special in the midst of lush greenery. In the morning, the bay offers some shade. The inland moving beach and the shallow access to the water are also ideal for families with children.
