The east coast stretches from Cala Ratjada in the northeast to Cala Santanyi in the southeast. Central landscape feature for the east of Mallorca is the Serra de Llevant, the eastern coastal mountains. Probably the most visited tourist attraction and most famous attraction in the east of Mallorca are the Coves del Drac in Porto Cristo. In the impressive stalactite cave there is a lake over 170 meters long. Incidentally, the east coast of Majorca is particularly popular because of the many sandy beaches and beautiful bays. That alone makes the east of Majorca absolutely worth seeing. However, one should not forget the many cultural monuments, including e.g. the former convent of San Salvador near Felanitx.
