Property in the east of Mallorca for sale
The east coast stretches from Cala Ratjada in the northeast to Cala Santanyi in the southeast. In addition to the picturesque fishing villages and the beautiful bays, there are many other attractions along the east coast to discover. Central landscape feature for the east of Mallorca is the Serra de Llevant, the eastern coastal mountains. Although not as impressive in size and formations as the Serra de Tramuntana in the north, it is still an attractive area for hiking, cycling and nature excursions. A landmark in Mallorca's east is the castle in Capdepera. Already on the way to Capdepera, the castle overlooking the town is hard to miss. No wonder that the other way around from the castle has a great view of the surroundings and the sea in the northeast of Mallorca. Canayamel surprises with a small nature reserve - the Natural Area del Torrente de Cap Vermell. Interesting especially for bird lovers. Located between Cala Millor and Sa Coma, the nature reserve Es Cubells offers the opportunity for a great short hike. On established paths in the interior of the headland or as climbing on the rough coast one arrives to the Castell de N'Amer. Probably the most visited tourist attraction and most famous attraction in the east of Mallorca are the Coves del Drac in Porto Cristo. In the impressive stalactite cave there is a lake over 170 meters long. Incidentally, the east coast of Majorca is particularly popular because of the many sandy beaches and beautiful bays. That alone makes the east of Majorca absolutely worth seeing. However, one should not forget the many cultural monuments, including e.g. the former convent of San Salvador near Felanitx. You might think that the influx of wealthy and famous real estate owners to Mallorca is concentrated in the exclusive southwest and places like Deia and Valldemossa, but that's not always true. For it is precisely the tranquility and serene atmosphere of the East, that has attracted many prominent people over the past ten years, who have settled here or gained a second home.
