A unique jewel is this minimalist renovated fisherman's hut with 35 m² on 46 m² plot directly in the port of Cala Figuera.
This house was built in 1910 as a shelter for the fishermen in the harbor. There are only a few houses left that still exist in their original structure. High entrances were avoided, everything was worked out of the rocks. The construction of the house with a living space of 35 m² over 2 levels is reminiscent of a small boat. Due to the cave construction, the temperature in the house is perfect all year round. This authentic jewel in the port of Cala Figuera stands on a 46 m² plot of land, used to be a boat garage and one of the first in the port. About 15 years ago it was converted into a cozy house to spend a few days by the sea and the port or just to come here on the weekend. For lovers of the sea and the unique, but without the conveniences of modern life, this property could be the right choice. The minimalist holiday home was recently renovated, but as it is located directly on the sea, it is in need of modernization. The fisherman's house has electricity and water connections.
The village of Cala Figuera is a two-part, fjord-like bay in the southeast of Mallorca and was formerly the port of Santanyi. The two arms of water Calo d'en Boira and Calo d'en Busques form a Y. At the end of the left arm are hidden the fishermen's cottages with their characteristic boat garages.
